Our History
Coastline Women’s Center exists because of God’s redemptive story in the life of Jeannie Smith, our Founder. When Jeannie and her husband cried out for help in 2008, God led them to a pregnancy crisis center that guided Jeannie through healing from her past abortion. Then God called Jeannie to serve Horry County and He began to give her vision for Coastline Women’s Center. The Founding began in 2011 and both Jeannie and Carter responded in obedience to leave their home in the upstate and embark on a faith journey to be a voice for the unborn. In 2013, they opened the doors of Coastline Women’s Center. She continues to serve as President and has led the organization into great growth, serving three locations that includes Abagail’s Place named after her daughter in Heaven. Jeannie is known for her compassionate heart as a counselor and has deep passion to see women healed and restored from past trauma and child loss. Her husband Carter joins her as CEO and Co-Founder. Together, they work with individuals and families struggling with issues that arise from unplanned pregnancies and abortion. As a family, they are committed to abolishing abortion and transforming the lives of all people through the Gospel and love of Jesus Christ. Who We Are
At Coastline Women’s Center our goal is simply to assist women throughout pregnancy into the early stages of parenting by providing Biblical services that will educate and transform their lives building healthier, stronger families. God has given us authority and put us in a position that allows us to assist people in incredible ways. We not only consider this a great privilege and honor but also a big responsibility.

Coastline Women’s Center
will operate on the foundation of integrity and will be able to reach hundreds of thousands of people who are lost and hurting with lifesaving hope and assistance at a time when they need it the most. Together, we will impact the community and even the world. Together, we will extend the love of Christ to the poor, fatherless, widows, and brokenhearted. Together, we will have good reward for our labor because two are better than one, for if one falls, the other will lift up their companion (Eccles. 4:9-10).
Our Pledge
We will do all we can to partner with ministries and outreaches we believe have the greatest impact on the Kingdom. We'll look for more creative ways of helping the hurting, relieving human suffering and sharing the light and love of Jesus Christ with the world.
